Lady Eagles Add Transfer for 2010 Season
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- Outfielder Cassidy Skeen (Powell, Tenn.) will join the Carson-Newman softball team for the 2009-10 season, head coach Vickee Kazee Hollifield announced Wednesday. Skeen comes to C-N after playing last season at Tennessee Tech and will have three years of eligibility remaining. Lady Eagles Add ETSU Transfer for 2010 Season
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- Right-handed pitcher Ashley Boyd (Chattanooga, Tenn.) will join the Carson-Newman softball team for the 2010 season, head coach Vickee Kazee-Hollifield announced Thursday. Lady Eagles Ranked 21st in Final NFCA Poll
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Carson-Newman softball team is ranked 21st in the final National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, officials announced Monday. The Lady Eagles went 32-17 in 2009 and won their ninth South Atlantic Conference Tournament title. C-N advanced to the NCAA Division II Softball Southeast Super Regional, where it lost two games to North Georgia. [+]
