HOUSTON - Carson-Newman's Brad Robinson (Johnson City, Tenn.) fired a 2-over 72 to fall into a tie for 21st at 1-over on the second day of the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships in Houston, Texas. While Robinson dropped a stroke on his tournament score, he picked up four shots to the lead. Florida Southern's Jude Eustaquio followed his opening day 63 (-7) with a 74 to finish as the second round co-leader tied with Belmont-Abbey's Conner Tomlinson. Heading into Friday's round, 21 golfers, including Robinson, are within four shots of a national title. Robinson was even on the day after his first birdie on the day at the par-four 14th, but followed with bogeys on 15 and 17 to let a solid round slip two strokes. He has bogeyed the par-four 17th in both rounds. The Johnson City-native will play his third round of the tournament of Friday.
