Summitt to Speak at C-N's Coaches' Appreciation Dinner
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Tennessee Head Coach Pat Summitt will be the keynote speaker at Carson-Newman's 2nd Annual Coaches Appreciation Dinner, C-N Athletic Director David Barger announced Wednesday. Lady Eagles Add Transfer
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Former Harpeth Hall standout Mandy Mendenhall will transfer to Carson-Newman for the 2008-'09 season, C-N head coach Dean Walsh announced today. Mendenhall will have three years of eligibility remaining. She played in 29 games as a freshman last season at Tennessee Tech, starting one. [+]

C-N's Sinard Wins Consolation Bracket at Tennessee Amateur
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. A faulty putting stroke had Sarah Jane Sinard feeling somewhat frustrated after her loss to Jessica Tarbet in the opening round of the Tennessee Womens Amateur Tuesday. It was nothing a little practice couldnt cure, though. Sinard stormed back to win four consecutive matches in the championship consolation bracket over the next three days, capped by her 1-up win over Stacy Springer on the 18th hole of Fridays finalist The Honors Course.
